About the CRCC Field

We’re thrilled that you’ve taken the time to explore the possibility of joining our RC club community! Your passion for the skies—whether it's watching the nation's top pilots showcase their skills, seeking guidance as you prepare for your first flight, or looking for a fresh club to further your RC journey—is exactly what makes our club special.

Nestled within the stunning Southeast of Tennessee, we pride ourselves on offering arguably the finest flying sites around. Our extensive 50' x 600' asphalt runway provides ample space for all types of aircraft, while our adjacent 50' x 600' grass runway presents a forgiving surface that is perfect for those just starting out. With a combined landing area of 100 feet wide, it's an ideal environment that supports beginners and seasoned pilots alike.

Our facility features a 100' covered pavilion equipped with picnic tables, creating a welcoming space for you to socialize and discuss the latest trends in radio control flying. Need to charge your batteries? No problem! We have 110 AC outlets available to ensure your equipment is always ready for flight. Plus, our treeless hilltop location offers pilots unimpeded airspace, making it an excellent spot for all types of aircraft.

Though our beloved field is secured by local regulations which require it to remain locked, we're more than happy to facilitate access. Simply reach out to our Facility Coordinator via email to arrange a visit.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our community soon! Your new adventure awaits in the skies of Summit Field, Chattanooga RC Club!
