Contest 1 – Sprint Pylon Racing (3 classes)

  1. CLASS-A (Entry Level): Factory Stock Aeroscout. No Modifications Allowed. 3S Power, 10 Lap Race, Racehorse start in pairs of two. 4 racers per heat. Starting position based on qualifying times.

  2. CLASS-B (Advanced): Factory Stock Aeroscout. 4S allowed. 40Amp Esc allowed, Motor requirement: BadAss BA-2310-2350kv 10 Lap Race, Racehorse start in pairs of two. 4 racers per heat. Starting position based on qualifying times.

  3. CLASS-C (Unlimited): 90% Aeroscout/all airframe mods allowed. 4S allowed. 50Amp Esc allowed. Motor requirement: Any BadAss 23mm series motor. 10 Lap Race, hand launch or takeoff, 1 second interval between launch. Starting position based on qualifying times, 4 racers per heat.

Contest 2– Carrier Landing Competition

Four arrestor wires across the runway. Arrestor Hooks will be provided (donations accepted). Score points for catching arrestor wire, but don’t catch the first one. If you do, you landed in the drink -15 points. “Call the Ball”

  • 5 paces (yards) between arrestor lines

  • 1st wire: minus -15 points, 2nd wire: 15 Points, 3rd wire: 10 Points, 4th wire: 5 Points

  • Best score of 3 out of 4 attempts. Ties broken by sudden death flyoff

  • 2 aircraft flying at a time. Course marshals will unhook aircraft and re-string arrestor wire.
